Sunday's SUPER BOWL XLII on FOX was the most-watched Super Bowl game in 42 years of Super Bowls and also ranks as the second most-watched program in TV history with 97.5 million viewers, surpassing the 1996 Super Bowl game which drew in 94.1 million viewers.
It follows only the final episode of M*A*S*H which aired February 28th, 1983 and drew in 106 million viewers.
Figures from TIME ZONE ADJUSTED FAST NATIONALS, reveal FOX's Super Bowl coverage from 6:31 pm - 10:12 pm scored a 37.6 rating among A18-49 viewers and the Super Bowl post game from 10:12 pm - 10:38 pm delivered a 26.6 A18-49 rating.
[All this means is most of America saw the Giants beat the Patriots.]
