CHOW HOUND

Finally, the complete original version of the 1951 WARNER BROTHERS classic, CHOW HOUND.

This cartoon offered one of the darkest endings of any of the MERRIE MELODIES causing it to be banned from the airwaves due to its "imitable behavior."

It is one of the funniest and most vicious cartoon shorts to ever hit the mainstream.

It's strange how few people have seen it from all the blank stares I get when I quote the last line of the short.

Ken Menard, thanks for the post.

[This one is a classic. It was a mainstay from my childhood Thanksgivings. You could always hear one of my cousins saying "this time we didn't forget the gravy" shortly after saying grace.]

I thought I'd seen all the WB animated shorts, but I don't remember seeing that one.
This day in age, "dark" humor like that is almost de rigeur.
