GREY'S ANATOMY Heads To LIFETIME

(From Cynopsis)

GREY'S ANATOMY is headed for LIFETIME.

BUENA VISTA closed the deal with LIFETIME with financial terms in the $1.2 million per episode neighborhood for the off-networks syndicated rights to ABC's hit series.

LIFETIME gets the show in 2009, to run in any daypart.

Eventually Grey's Anatomy will likely be paired with DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, which joins the network schedule on a weekly schedule starting August 5th at 11 pm, and then will be stripped in the Fall of 2008.

Reportedly, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES was acquired at a per episode license fee of a half million.
