Agent BARRY FRANK, who reps former NFLer DEION SANDERS, said that Sanders "met with ESPN executives Tuesday to discuss a role on the network's NFL coverage."
In New York, ANDREW MARCHAND notes MICHAEL IRVIN and STEVE YOUNG are still "in contract negotiations" for ESPN's Sunday pregame show.
Meanwhile, an ESPN spokesperson said there are "no plans" for KEITH OLBERMANN to expand his role with ESPN. Olbermann currently appears each afternoon on DAN PATRICK's ESPN RADIO talk show.
But Patrick said, "My feeling is somewhere down the road we will do SPORTSCENTER together."
