"New Jersey: Come See For Yourself" is the winner of
New Jersey's recent tourism slogan contest, which attracted 11,227 telephone and online votes.
The contest was held after officials rejected a marketing company's proposal, "We'll Win You Over," for being
too defensive.
Rejected entries included -- "New Jersey: It's Not As Bad As It Smells" and "New Jersey: Hey, At least It's Not West Virginia (or Connecticut)."
