GOOGLE'S PICASSA

(From the Yahoo Avid User's Group)

Maybe I'm a sucker for free stuff, but I think GOOGLE'S PICASSA is an awesome program.

I've been working on several Olympic profiles and have been provided with several hundred still images. In the past, I used PHOTOSHOP BROWSER, or just renamed all the pics to something that made sense.

Picassa does all the sorting, loads fast, and can do searches. You can select images and have them open up in either
AFTER EFFECTS or PHOTOSHOP.

Need to add captions, just type, want to create sub catagories, just click and drag. It will even burn a CD for you.

It's saved me a ton of time and made the process of working with so many images much easier.

Anyone needing to manage images might be interested in this solution.
