KING KONG Trailer

[The lastest thoughts from our resident film enthusiast,
Mr. Bailey.]

I downloaded the 720p HD version of THE KING KONG TRAILER.

It looks good -- but took 22 minutes to get!

This "movies and TV over broadband" idea is laughable.
At that rate it would take 22-24 HOURS to download the entire movie! But interesting that I can get it off of the Internet in better quality than I can see it on TV -- just not in anything approaching real time.

We already know NAIOMI WATTS is a great actress, but judging by the shots it looks as if she's really good emoting with nothing but a blue screen as well.

Those island folks are really creepy looking.
I'm assuming it's gonna be PG-13.

CONTINUITY ERROR -- on THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING, ANNE cries "No" in closeup and vanishes in the next shot where Kong leaps. But it IS a trailer.

I also saw the trailer on the big screen. I'd have to say the 720p QuickTime Version was more impressive.

I thought it would get a huge reaction from the audience as trailers often do in Los Angeles. Instead, there was total silence. One person started two faint claps, and then stopped.

Kraig Bailey, thanks for the post.
