ESPN Yuck

(From The USA Today -- By Michael Hiestand)

Women won't be used much, if ever, as analysts for NFL, NBA or MLB games. Those slots are reserved for (invariably male) former coaches and players. So women, on game coverage of big games, can mainly shoot for sideline reporter jobs. There, they shouldn't face condescension.

Like when ESPN game announcer RON FRANKLIN, during Notre Dame's win against Purdue on Saturday night, seemed to dismiss reporter HOLLY ROWE -- and called her "sweetheart."
