From Wednesday, September 21st to Monday, October 10th,
ABC SPORTS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN360 will combine to present 20 DAYS OF FOOTBALL, a stretch of 20 days featuring a minimum of one live football telecast (college or NFL) each day on one of the networks. The networks will combine to televise 61 games in 54 telecast windows during the 20-day stretch.

ESPN and ABC SPORTS will televise six NFL games during the series -- KANSAS CITY at DENVER (September 26th), GREEN BAY at CAROLINA (October 3rd) and PITTSBURGH at SAN DIEGO (October 10th) on ABC SPORTS and NEW YORK GIANTS at SAN DIEGO (September 25th), SAN FRANCISCO at ARIZONA (October 2nd) and CINCINATTI at JACKSONVILLE (October 9th) on ESPN.
ABC SPORTS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN360's college football games for October 1st have been selected today. Highlights include:
ABC SPORTS will provide split national coverage of
#14 MICHIGAN at #17 MICHIGAN STATE and #2 TEXAS at MISSOURI at noon. ABC SPORTS' split national coverage at
3:30 pm will be highlighted by #1 USC at #18 ARIZONA STATE.
ESPN's lineup will feature #4 VIRGINIA TECH at WEST VIRGINIA at noon and #16 NOTRE DAME at #11 PURDUE at 7:45 pm.
ESPNU will televise SOUTH FLORIDA at #12 MIAMI in an intrastate showdown at 8 pm.
Later in the season, the networks will combine to offer
33 straight days of football from October 27th to November 28th. Last year, the networks combined to televise 19 consecutive days of football on two occasions -- from October 28th to November 15th and December 17th to January 4th.
