Now That's A SMART PLAYLIST

If you keep your ITUNES music library filled with great music (like me), you probably have quite a few tunes you haven't heard in awhile. Here's a great way to uncover those hidden gems -- use A SMART PLAYLIST.

With ITUNES running, choose NEW SMART PLAYLIST from THE FILE MENU, then:

1. From the first pull-down menu, choose LAST PLAYED.
2. Choose IS BEFORE from the second pull-down menu.
3. Type a date (e.g. "4/1/05") in the text field, and click Ok.

ITUNES creates a new playlist with songs you haven't heard in months.

Now, would you like that SMART PLAYLIST sized to fit your 512MB IPOD SHUFFLE? Then before you click Ok, check the LIMIT TO box, choose "MB" from the pull-down menu, and enter 512 in the text box.
