Chains Of Lust

(From Men's Health Magazine)

OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY researchers mapped the sexual networks of 822 students at a midwestern high school for 18 months and found that sexually active students were linked together in a chainlike sequence.

In one instance, 288 students were linked through sexual partners in a single chain.

Among adults, networks tend to be smaller clusters of highly sexually active people.

Study author JAMES MOODY, PH.D., says the pattern shows that teens aren't as safe from STDs as they think. The reality of potential exposure hits home when "you see that big cluster of 288 kids."
