PANASONIC Unveils First Two 3D Plasma HDTVs
PANASONIC unveiled the industry's first two 3D plasma HDTVs, due to be released in Japan in late April (a U.S. release hasn't been set.)
The 50" ($4,800) and 54" ($5,900) VIERA VT2 series sets rely on 3D active shutter glasses that use battery power to block out light alternately from each lens.
For five grand you also get built in analog and digital tuners.
