REACHING TRANQUILITY -- The 40th Anniversary Of The APOLLO 11 Lunar Landing

(From DailyFilm.TV)

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first men landing on the moon, 9 months were spent capturing the moon using time lapse and HD camcorders in order to create a modern look at the APOLLO 11 lunar landing at THE SEQ OF TRANQUILITY.

Using interval timers on the NIKON D2HS and NIKON D3, the moon was captured while crossing the night skies in the Baltimore area.

QUICKTIME was used to create time lapse movie files, and the original work was edited along with archive footage from the 1960's to give the viewer a fresh perspective while looking back in time as the United States leaped into an era that transformed the world.
