BEHIND THE MUSIC Returns To VH1

VH1 is bringing back one of its iconic signature series BEHIND THE MUSIC, ordering 10 new episodes, reports THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

The series began in 1997 and has been off the air since 2002, with just a handful of episodes running each year through 2006.

According to network focus groups, viewers still associate the documentary series with the network's brand.

VH1 will update the format for 2009 yet will keep much of it the same including having JIM FORBES return as the show's narrator.

To date, LIL WAYNE and SCOTT WEILAND will participate in the new version and VH1 is close to finalizing agreements with many other artists.
