(From Cynopsis)
CBS' 60 MINUTES is celebrating several notable things Sunday -- its 40th anniversary of its first season (the news magazine launched on September 24, 1968); the show's pre-season premiere featuring interviews with both presidential nominees, Senators BARACK OBAMA and JOHN McCAIN; and its first show in hi-def which will be normal from now on.
Incidentally, 60 MINUTES' first show in 1968 featured talks with presidential nominees RICHARD NIXON and HUBERT HUMPHREY.
