Major League Baseball is moving closer to instituting instant replay and could start it as early as August 15th, according to an umpire and high-ranking baseball official.
Each person requested anonymity because details have not been finalized.
Replays would be limited to possible home runs and used at the request of the manager.
The August 15th date is a target but could be delayed as the details are finalized.
