Olympic multiple-gold medalist MICHAEL PHELPS has been tapped to host the season opening of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (SNL) on September 13th.
Musical guest is LIL WAYNE.
The same sort of on-TV notoriety befell MARK SPIZ after winning his seven gold medals, and it didn't work out well.
Hopefully, Phelps will well surpass Spitz in this arena, as he did in the swimming pool.
