So the cable networks set out to spin big stories, stories that can sustain hours of reporting and analysis, out of wisps that may or may not have any substance.
The big hope so far this week has been "angry Hillary Clinton supporters," who allegedly feel she has been so badly disrespected by the BARACK OBAMA camp that they are going to take their votes and march over to JOHN McCAIN.
A widely circulated CNN poll suggested 27% of Clinton supporters felt this way.
Problem was, TV hasn't found a lot of them.
Reporters from all three networks repeatedly interview Clinton delegates who say yes, maybe some people felt that way, but they personally plan to support Obama.
