NBC SPORTS TCA panel took place Monday, with FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA hosts KEITH OLBERMANN and DAN PATRICK, among others.
BROADCASTING AND CABLE writes about NBC's Super Bowl plans next February, which will include some news programs on location in Tampa, Florida.
The network announced that a special Super Bowl Sunday edition of TODAY -- anchored by MATT LAUER, MEREDITH VIERIA, AL ROKERand ANN CURRY -- will originate from Tampa, Florida, from 8 am to 10 am, followed by a special edition of MEET THE PRESS (anchored by whoever the new host may be) originating at Raymond James Stadium from 10 am to 11 am.
A special edition of FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA will also take place.
Olbermann was asked in the panel if he will insert political content into his Football gig.
"Barring the possibility that JOHN McCAIN selects BRETT FAVRE as his running mate, I don't think you will see any political content on Football Night this year," he said.
Tom Blais, thanks for the post.
